Free rising!

Gravity...rules everything on Earth. Everything.
Laws - not just laws of physics, laws of nature, humanity... evolution itself is controlled by gravity. Considering the incredible power of gravity, I was surprised that there's not much research to ... control gravity!
Stay with me here - gravitational energy is never going to deplete - as long as Earth doesn't go on a fat free diet and reduces mass. If we discover... or invent a way to tap this potential energy, we basically change the world - a thought for Nobel prize.... this does not mean devising a mechanism to just USE the gravitational energy (we already do this quite a bit), but, to CONTROL the energy.
This is a philosophy I am talking about - not yet science.
Imagine this - instead of free falling, what if you could free rise? Rise at an acceleration equal to 9.81 m/square sec. What if you could control the direction and magnitude of the acceleration gravity vector? Sounds extreme?
Begining of 1900s, there were many scientists thinking about this - most prominent being Albert Einstein himself. He said gravity is the warping of SPACE and TIME. Space and time meet at a point - at the black holes! Whatever that meant.

Anyways, the point I am trying to make is that modern day scientists are becoming very narrow minded. There are billions spent on dead-end researches and extreme ideas are ridiculed.
Ask yourself this question: If engineers kept working on making the propeller technology better - by making better nuts, bolts, bearings, lighter material, etc., do you think we would have seen the JET engines today? Somebody completely started thinking different from the BASICS - thought out of the box! Now, that is science.

May the gravitational force be with you! :)

I wish we could derive the rest of the phenomena of nature by the same kind of reasoning from mechanical principles; for I am induced by many reasons to suspect that they may all depend upon certain forces by which the particles of bodies, by some causes hitherto unknown, are either mutually impelled towards each other, and cohere in regular figures, or are repelled and recede from each other; which forces being unknown, philosophers have hitherto attempted the search of nature in vain.
I am happy to see researchers like you think out of the box and not just below apple trees.

My fellow physicists have this to say:

Gravity: Not just a good idea...it's the LAW.

Black Holes were created when God divided by zero!

Good luck to you and always wear a helmet...those darn apples I say! My head still hurts.

@cherie:
Thanks Princess!

@Sir Vishag Newton:
You are right! There are people who are talking about SUB-subatomic particles called GRAVITRONS that make them react to other particles or masses creating the effect of Gravity. Even if you could prove that such particles exist, isolating or controlling them would be a hell of a task.
Maybe all the answers are already out there and just needs a little searching.

I will definitely take your advice on wearing a helmet, 'coz gravity's a bitch!

Thinking outside the box is surely what makes all the greatest or even the smallest of inventions and discoveries possible.Worth spending the monies...but when it comes to NASA one cant help but wonder ...??

hehe u know what...thers a fifth kind of basic force, including the 4 that every physicist should swear by...
gravity, EM, strong, weak and life :)...the fifth force can beat any shit out of the other 4 :D...
